Our Team

We are a team of 14 gardeners with a wide variety of experience, gained through the work we do at Beautiful Borders, previous employment and also personal interest. Many of the us hold a horticultural qualification, mostly RHS, or are working towards one. We have developed our own in-house training programme covering many areas of horticulture, from fruit tree pruning to clematis and rose care. We all have a keen interest in vegetable growing!

Each area has a dedicated Lead Gardener, who is a point of contact for customers, supports and assists the gardeners in their area and assists with planting advice and orders.

We also have a dedicated plant area manager, called Claire. She is responsible for the day-to-day care of our stock of plants and for the purchasing of new stock. She is always on hand to offer assistance to the whole team, to choose suitable planting for customer's gardens and to deliver materials as and when required.
