Hedge Planting

From November to early March, we spend lots of time planting bare-root hedging for customers. If you are considering a new hedge, we would strongly recommend going for bare-root plants, as when they are planted well, with good ground preparation, they require minimal care to get them established. We are able to source a variety of plants including:

  • Beech/purple beech

  • Hornbeam

  • Yew

  • Privet

  • Box

  • Hawthorn

  • Dog rose

  • And many more..

It is always advisable to plan ahead and get booked in for new hedge planting well in advance of the autumn, as these spots tend to get booked up quite quickly and our regular garden maintenance customers are given priority for autumn/winter hours.
